We want Four Sea Suns to be your first choice on the Forgotten Coast! We are constantly looking for feedback on how to make your visit more enjoyable.
On our recent visit before the 2010 rental season begins, we made some small but important changes. These changes include:
Replacing the television in the living room with a 32" HDTV. This new TV has multiple HDMI inputs and allows you to use it as a computer monitor.
Replacing all of the glassware. The original glassware was incredibly nice but could not be washed in the dishwasher. We changed that by adding 16 new 12 ounce glasses and 16 new 8 ounce glasses. The new glassware is Libby and very substantial -- but can easily be cleaned in the dishwasher!
Added a luggage rack in the master bedroom and will soon add one in the main floor bedroom.
Reupholstered the dining set chairs. These were done in white and showed the wear you would expect. The chairs are now done in a beautiful rust and are very comfortable and really complement the beautiful floor.
Added a wall and door! For those have stayed at Four Sea Suns, you know that the first floor bedroom had a "window" to the kitchen so you could see the beach. We opted for more privacy and now we have put in a wall and door. BJ, the local contractor, matched the finish completing and both the wall and door look as if they have always been there.
Replaced the outside light fixtures. While not an issue for most visitors, the fixtures were rusting badly after nearly five years of Gulf air! We found the same fixtures at Lowe's (unfinished). We primed them twice, painted them three times and now the fixtures are ready for the all that the Gulf can give them.
And, most importantly.... we left a set of golf clubs with Four Sea Suns for our visitors to use. These are Mizuno MPIII irons with new grips, a Callaway Warbird driver and 4 wood, and a 7 wood for those needing it! All are welcome to use the irons. All we ask is that you keep them clean and replace any balls that you might lose.
